A snippet of gameplay from The Duskbloods – FromSoftware’s Switch 2 PvPvE action game – has leaked online ahead of an upcoming closed beta test.

The Duskbloods leak was originally and accidentally posted online by 4Gamer, and was uploaded to Bilibili (a popular social media platform) before the original leak was hastily taken offline. The video showed the final climactic brawl between the three top-performing players at the climax of a Duskbloods match, where players duke it out for the top spot.

For those wishing to avoid spoilers altogether, this is your warning not to read any further. We’d also recommend staying clear of social media for a while longer, at least until the closed beta goes live.

As for what we see in the leaked video, the action seems very fast. Players dash around a lonesome rooftop, lit by bloody red moonlight, and you can seemingly double jump, do massive aerial attacks, summon computer-controlled allies including wolves and rotund fellas in a little wooden cart, and more.

There also appears to be a temporary player transformation which looks to work like the dragon (and bear) transformation skills in Elden Ring and the Souls series. In The Duskbloods, this allows the player to turn themselves into a large velociraptor and dash for a powerful grab attack.

Once the victory is decided, a cinematic plays, showing the player offering a grail to the moonlit sky. It’s an action-packed glimpse at what’s in store. The closed beta for The Duskbloods is set to go live tomorrow, 21st August, and will detail a game that until now has remained largely a mystery.
