Fitnexa is taking a different approach with DUVA, its new sleep technology brand, and DUVA ONE, an intelligent in-ear sleep health agent introduced at IFA Berlin 2026. Rather than simply collecting information for users to review the following morning, DUVA ONE is designed to sense changes during the night and respond to potential disruptions as they happen.
The concept is built around a simple idea: sleep technology should not only tell you what happened. It should be able to respond while you are still asleep.
DUVA ONE combines body and room sensing
DUVA ONE combines real-time body tracking with environmental monitoring. The earbuds track metrics including heart rate variability (HRV), heart rate, sleep stages, and movement, while environmental sensors integrated into the charging dock monitor noise, light, temperature, and humidity.
Bringing these two sets of information together allows DUVA ONE to look at sleep disruptions from both sides. Instead of treating a change in sleep as an isolated metric, the system is designed to connect external triggers in the room with physical micro-arousals.
That is what sets DUVA’s approach apart from conventional sleep wearables, according to Fitnexa. The brand describes DUVA ONE as an autonomous sleep agent, designed to intervene rather than simply report.
Its active intervention system combines Passive Noise Cancellation (PNC) and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), providing dynamic noise reduction of up to 42 dB. DUVA ONE can also adjust relaxation soundscapes or guided audio exercises to help restore deeper sleep when disruptions occur.
The objective is to make these adjustments without requiring the wearer to wake up and reach for a phone or other device.
Designed to stay in your ears all night
For sleep earbuds, comfort is arguably as important as intelligence. A device can have sophisticated sensors and audio technology, but it needs to remain comfortable enough to wear throughout the night.
DUVA ONE has an ultra-low 9.9mm profile and weighs just 3.3 grams per earbud. Fitnexa says the design was developed with side sleeping in mind, with two ergonomic ear-tip designs and multiple ear-tip and ear-wing sizes providing more than 40 possible fit configurations.
That attention to fit is intended to provide a secure, low-pressure experience for extended wear.
Privacy is another area where DUVA ONE takes a deliberate approach. Its environmental monitoring is based on decibel-only measurements, meaning the sensors measure sound levels without recording, storing, or transmitting ambient audio. Users can also disable monitoring and wipe data with a single tap.
For a device designed to operate in the bedroom, where privacy can be particularly sensitive, that distinction is important.
Power that lasts through the night
DUVA ONE is designed to avoid another common problem with wearable technology: running out of power before the night is over.
Fitnexa claims up to 16 hours of battery life on a single charge. With locally stored sleep audio, the earbuds can provide up to 13 hours with ANC turned off and up to 9.5 hours with ANC enabled. The charging case provides up to five additional full recharges.
The system also includes a private in-ear alarm, allowing the wearer to wake gradually without relying on a phone speaker. That keeps the wake-up experience personal and avoids potentially disturbing someone sleeping nearby.
A different idea of what a sleep wearable can do
DUVA ONE reflects Fitnexa’s broader approach to wellness technology. Rather than focusing solely on collecting health data, the company says it is developing proactive devices that combine connected sensing, intelligent software, and ergonomic hardware to support rest, recovery, and everyday wellbeing.
For Fitnexa, the ambition behind DUVA is straightforward: make sleep technology more responsive to what is happening during the night, rather than leaving users to interpret the evidence the next morning.
