Nathan Fielder has built a career on absurd stunts that make it almost impossible to tell fact from fiction. A24 produced the movie, and it was shot in the weeks before Holmes began serving her 11-year prison sentence for defrauding investors. The movie’s runtime is a meaty 174 minutes.

Fielder has also partnered with A24 in the past, starring in the dark comedy TV series The Curse.
You Can See Everything debuted at the 53rd Telluride Film Festival on Sept. 6, where it wowed critics. The film is currently at 100% on Rotten Tomatoes from 10 reviews and, even more impressively, at a 95 on Metacritic from 7 reviews. Tomris Laffly from RogerEbert.com described it as “like no other film I’ve ever experienced.” Variety’s Owen Gleiberman wrote, “It’s a one-of-a-kind reality-TV-as-hangout-movie psychodrama circus. Yet it’s been made with a spirit of true inquiry, driven by Fielder’s acidly quizzical personality, and it gets its hooks in you.”
Thankfully, we won’t have to wait long for the film. You Can See Everything is set to premiere in the United States on Oct. 16.
