Dreame, widely known for its robot vacuums and wet and dry stick vacuums, is majorly expanding its product lineup in Australia and New Zealand… and frankly, its high-tech concept car isn’t the most exciting development in the works.
Showcasing a slate of 80+ products across 13 categories during its Dreame Next event in Melbourne last night, the new suite of Dreame-branded smartphones and smart wearables piqued my interest the most. Most of these products debuted a few weeks ago at the San Francisco event, where my colleague Kelly got to try the new Dreame AI-powered hair tools.
On display were four concept phones from Dreame’s Aurora Lux luxury smartphone line, each with varying levels of customisation. From the Aurora Shimmering Starry Sky with a diamond-studded lens ring and the Aurora Luxe Loop Sanctuary with full-grain calfskin cover and 16K gold logo, to the complete customisation of the Aurora LS1 with magnetic plug-and-play camera lenses and the Aurora Noble Gleam with 198 1-carat diamonds and bespoke gold-plated logo, there’s plenty to marvel at.
If an over-the-top, diamond-encrusted phone isn’t your style, Dreame also had other conceptual models on display, including the Dreame x Nubia RS1 smartphone, which looks eerily similar to the Nubia Z80 Ultra. The only catch? These phones are totally aspirational for the brand, with a speculative launch within the next 12-18 months.
Entering the wearables market

Next on the agenda was the early glimpse at the wearables line, which includes the Dreame AI Smart ECG ring. Much like the best smart rings available now, Dreame’s version will use AI to track sleep patterns, emotion insights, health and heart rate monitoring. Plus, it even has fingertip haptic alerts, so users don’t miss any incoming calls, messages or health updates.
While its launch date is still under wraps, Dreame has confirmed pricing to be AU$499 upon launch, putting it within range of most other smart rings and wearables. That said, it has not been confirmed if it will require a subscription for its smart tracking features, which is a common component of fitness trackers, including Oura Rings and the like.
Alongside the ring comes Dreame’s take on smart glasses, each with differing AI capabilities. The first and potentially most sought-after pair at the event was the Dreame AI Camera+AR Glasses, which were stylistically akin to the 3D cinema glasses of the 2010s. Combining multiple AI models — namely ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude — the glasses can be optimised for every scenario, using AI vision recognition, a smart teleprompter and a navigation assistant to interact with the world in real time. The pair also features a binocular AR display with 1500-nit brightness for use indoors or outdoors and weighs under 50g, making it well-suited for everyday use.
The other pair on display was the Dreame AI Audio glasses. Much like the AI Camera pair, the audio glasses also use multiple AI models to help with noise cancellation and live transcription; however, they lack camera lenses and focus solely on audio specs. Again, these smart glasses have yet to receive a launch date or pricing at this point.
A fizz-tastic fridge incoming
A large portion of Dreame’s showcase introduced an expanded home appliance range, including new robot vacuums and Dreame’s growth into a heavily saturated market — white goods. That said, I was readily impressed by Dreame’s look into all things fridge tech.
As a certified drink goblin, I enjoy my daily trips to my fridge to grab a cold beverage, and Dreame’s Fizz-Fresh was literally a dream come true for me. The French-door fridge freezer comes with a built-in water tank and cooler, an ice maker and a sparkling water system, in which you can customise how fizzy the water gets.
Other models on display included the Z-Fresh, which had a similar layout and scarily bright LED light to illuminate what is in the fridge, and the Mega Pro, for those who might not have the space for a French-door fridge, but still want the convenience of a water line. In terms of laundry care, Dreame also previewed the AI Dual Inverter Washer & Dryer set L9, the brand’s first foray into a smart washer/dryer system.
Expanding into the world of air filtration and pet appliances, the brand introduced its FP10 Air Purifier, priced at AU$899, the MF10 Bladeless Fan and my personal favourite, the Pet Air Purifier, complete with a feather cat toy and scratcher. Also in the pipeline for feline and other furry friends are Dreame’s self-cleaning litter box, smart feeder and smart water fountain, all of which I’m sure my furkids would enjoy.
Most of these products have speculative launch dates in the works, and I’ll keep you posted when they do eventually arrive in Australia and New Zealand. But for now, I’m going to keep dreaming of Dreame.
