Lenovo reveals iMac rival that upstages Apple with more goodies at a lower price

A big theme of IFA 2026 has been brands making products that can catch up with Apple’s computing gear, or even one-up the hot new Macs. Dell did it. Acer did it. And it seems Lenovo is fully on board with that trend, as well. Though the IdeaPad Vibe stole all the attention as a potent MacBook Neo rival, the company also dropped a competitor for the iMac with a handful of extra goodies. Say hello to the Lenovo IdeaCentre AIO i, which mimics the color palette of Apple’s all-in-one machine and color-matched I/O accessories as well, but with slightly muted tones. 

Lenovo says it worked with the Pantone Color Institute to pick the shades for its latest all-in-one desktop, which comes in Dreamy Violet, Radiant Coral, Zen Green, Luna Grey, and Cloud Grey color options. Beyond the obvious iMac inspiration, there are a few areas where the Lenovo machine stands out, despite a lower asking price.

First, Lenovo offers its latest all-in-one desktop in two sizes, viz. 24-inch and 27-inch, with full HD resolution and 350 nits of peak brightness for the panel. The standout aspect, however, is the refresh rate, which maxes out at 120 Hz. Another notable difference compared to Apple’s all-in-one machine is a touch-sensitive panel on the IdeaCentre AIO i desktop. Under the hood, Lenovo ships its latest all-in-one desktop with up to an Intel Core 7 350 processor, in configurations that start at 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and go up to 16 GB and 32 GB, while storage options include 512 GB and 1 TB trims. 

Lenovo also offers a 5-megapixel IR camera as an optional perk on its new AIO warrior. Port selection is not shabby either, as you get a total of six USB ports and an HDMI combo slot, alongside a headphone jack and even a wireless charging deck. The Lenovo IdeaCentre AIO i is priced at EUR 999 (approximately $1,160) and will go on sale in the European markets starting in November, but there is no word on a US launch yet. For comparison, the latest iMac currently starts at $1,499 in the US following a recent price hike.
