Just because The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Grand Theft Auto 6 are launching in November doesn’t mean other developers and publishers are abandoning the month. Games like Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered and Barbie Rewind are dropping in November. And now, Warhammer is about to join them.
On Tuesday, developer and publisher Auroch Digital announced that Warhammer Survivors will be released Nov. 10, right in between Zelda and GTA. It’s a roguelike bullet heaven, also called a “survivorslike,” popularized by Vampire Survivors. Poncle, developer of Vampire Survivors, has partnered with Warhammer to bring its expertise to Warhammer Survivors.
What is Warhammer Survivors about?
The frantic bullet heaven gameplay of Vampire Survivors heads to Warhammer 40,000’s grimdark 41st Millennium and Age of Sigmar’s the Mortal Realms setting. Unlock over 40 characters from the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar universes, each of whom will play differently with unique weapons and stats. Face down endless hordes of monstrous enemies, and go toe-to-toe with tough Extremis Bosses, which will be difficult even for Vampire Survivors veterans.
Warhammer Survivors will retail for $7.99. It will be released Nov. 10 on Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X. It won’t be the only Warhammer 40,000 game fans will get this year. Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4, a real-time strategy game, will be out in December after a recent delay.
