The Dungeon Crawler Carl Graphic Novels Are Buy 2, Get 1 Free at Target

The Dungeon Crawler Carl books have been blowing up, in part because the LitRPG series is excellent in pretty much every format. The books are great, the audiobooks are wonderful, and now there’s even a really cool graphic novel adaptation.

If you’re looking to collect the first two volumes that have been released so far, Target has generously included them in its buy 2, get 1 free sale. The sale runs from now until Saturday October 10, and it also includes all of the Dungeon Crawler Carl books. It’s a great time to add some DCC to your collection.

Target’s sale includes both Volume 1 and Volume 2 of the graphic novel, while Amazon’s competing sale only has the first one. That makes Target the overall better place to buy Dungeon Crawler Carl right now. You do need to add one more eligible book to take advantage of the full discount, but there’s a lot to choose from within the sale.

Is The Dungeon Crawler Carl Graphic Novel Worth Reading?

As someone who has experienced Dungeon Crawler Carl in pretty much all of its forms, I can honestly say that the graphic novel is worth a read. I reviewed the first volume last month, and had nothing but positive things to say about it. Here’s a quick summary of why I gave it an 8 out of 10:

“The first Dungeon Crawler Carl Graphic Novel turns Matt Dinniman’s popular LitRPG into a chaotic flurry of action and achievements that just works. It’s a great introduction to the story for those who don’t want to read the books and feels additive for those who already have.”

When is Volume 3 Releasing?

The Dungeon Crawler Carl graphic novels are actually just collected physical editions of the popular Webtoon series, so new pages are getting added pretty frequently. If you’re only interested in the graphic novel editions of the comic, the good news is there’s still more coming: Volume 3 of the adaptation is currently set to release on March 9, 2027.

With the Dungeon Crawler Carl TV series in the works and the popularity of the books continuing to grow, it seems likely that the graphic novel will continue until the story comes to an end.
